ABOUT ME
I'm a writer from Wilmington, DE. I studied Dramatic Writing at Savannah College of Art and Design, but my goal in writing didn't start there. Ever since I was a kid, all I've wanted to do is make stories, and I've kept them close to my chest since childhood. I have books in my room with barely legible words and screenplay formats scribbled in the margins.

A lot of my inspiration comes from the media I consume. I live vicariously through the characters I've familiarized myself with, and I know so many who have done the same. That's why character is such a big focus for me.

This also is why my taste in writing is so eclectic. I know so many things in so many different places, and my goal is to be a jack-of-all-trades in the writing world.

EDUCATION
2021 - Now
Dramatic Writing BFA
Savannah College of Art and Design
I studied and researched any dramatic writing, including but not limited to: screenplays, stage plays, TV, video games, and themed entertainment. Learned how to not only properly format, but also how to market and engage with an audience properly. I also took performing arts classes to get a broader perspective of writing, and design classes for more aesthetic understanding.
2017 - 2021
High School Diploma - Creative Writing/Digital Media
Cab Calloway School of the Arts
I graduated in the digital media major with a focus in creative writing. The creative writing side focused mostly on prose and poetry, as well as scripts. In digital media I learned the adobe suite, as well as took classes in both photography and film.
EXPERIENCE
2024 - Current
Programming Intern
SCAD Savannah Film Festival
After volunteering for the festival every year since 2021, this year I have the pleasure of helping review and choose the lineup, as well as take care of any other assistance needed to prepare for the festival.
2022 - 2025
Scripted Vice President
Savannah College of Art and Design
I've been a member of SCAD Scripted, the college's dramatic writing club, since my sophomore year, but became an officer for the 24-25 year. On top of engaging with the club meetings, my job will be to run meetings, educate those in the major, and bring people together.
2018 - 2020
Jeff Walker Youth One Act Festival
Wilmington Drama League
I wrote and directed short plays and worked through them to show them off at a festival. These included "Love Is Love" (2018), a fantasy romance, "The Stupendous Amazing Death Hotel" (2019), a horror comedy, and "Beginning of the End" (2020), a horror drama. It involved a lot of organization and planning to stage it all.
